Kitty Corner Unit

Needed: 2 - light 5” squares and 2-dark 5” squares: also 8- light 2½” squares and 8-dark 2½” squares. Cut each 5” square in half, creating 8-2½” x 5” pieces. Mark a diagonal line on each of the small squares. Place a light 2½” square on opposite corners of a dark 2½” x 5” piece. Sew across diagonal marks, press open and trim away underneath corners. Repeat process using light 2½” squares on dark pieces and dark 2½” squares on light pieces. Bring 8 total 2½” x 5” units.
