- Cut four 2 ½” by 4 ½” rectangles from (A).
- Cut four 2 ½” by 4 ½” rectangles from (B).
- Cut one 4 ½” square from (B).
- Cut two 5 3/8” squares from each of (B) & (C).
- Join one rectangle of (A) to one rectangle of (B) lengthwise to make a 4 ½” square. Make four of the squares.
- Make 4 half square triangle squares using the 5 3/8” squares. There should be four 4 ½” squares.
- Join one (A)/ (B) square to one (B)/(C) square to one (A)/ (B) square. This makes Row 1. All (A) / (B) squares should have the (B) fabric on the outside as shown.
- Join one (B)/ (C) square to the 4 ½” (B) square to one (B) /(C) square. This makes Row 2.
- Join one (A)/ (B) square to one (B)/(C) square to one (A)/ (B) square. This makes Row 3.
- Join the three rows as shown.
