Needed: 5 - light 5” squares and 5-dark 5” squares also 10 additional 4½”squares of different fabrics. Mark a diagonal line on each light square. With right sides together, place one dark and one light square together. Sew ¼” on either side of the diagonal line. Cut on the diagonal line. You now have 10 half-square triangles. Square these to 4½”, mark a diagonal line on each half-square triangle, and place each on one of the additional 4½” squares. Sew ¼” on either side of the diagonal line and cut on the line. Square these units to 4”. There will be 20 units. Someone will get bunches and bunches of combo units.
